Contributed English to Traditional Chinese localization for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. Handled localization across in-game text and game materials for one of the biggest entries in the world's best-selling first-person shooter franchise, set in a dark near-future world where advanced robotics and cybernetic enhancements have transformed warfare entirely.

Black Ops III presented an interesting localization challenge in that its tone sits across multiple registers simultaneously. The campaign leans into dense sci-fi military fiction with its own terminology and world-building, while the multiplayer and Zombies modes each have their own distinct voice and content types that needed to be handled separately and consistently. Keeping all three modes feeling cohesive in Traditional Chinese while respecting their individual tones required close attention to glossary management throughout.

Released November 6, 2015 on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, Black Ops III became the best-selling game of 2015 in the United States and generated over $550 million in revenue within its first three days of sale, making it one of the fastest-selling entertainment releases in history at the time.
